How to book an apartment:
How do I book an apartment?
You can book an apartment by sending us a request and we will call you or write
you back immediately.
Or you can make an online-booking directly on our web page.
How do I get my booking confirmation?
As soon as we have charged your credit card for the down payment you will
receive a confirmation directly to your private
e-mail address.
Is the Internet connection secure?
Yes, we are using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which is an Internet security
protocol used by Internet browsers and Web
servers to transmit sensitive
information.
(You can make sure you are on an SSL by checking the URL -- the http at the
beginning of the address should have changed to https.)
How to pay for the apartment:
How do I pay?
In order to make a booking we need a down payment via your credit card (Visa,
Master Card or American Express. Bank transfers
are also possible.
How do I pay the balance/cash on arrival?
You will receive an e-mail 2 weeks before your arrival, from Visit Barcelona
with a link to a safe Internet-Online-payment site. You can fill in all your
credit card information and conveniently pay the remaining balance prior
to your arrival to Barcelona.
In case you make a last minute booking or you decide not to use this system:
You can pay in cash to the check-in person when you arrive.
When do I pay the balance, cash on arrival if I don’t
do it via the Visit Barcelona Online payment site?
When you arrive to the apartment.

What time is check-in and check-out?
15:00 check-in and 11:00 check out.
What
time can I get into the apartment when I have arrived?
You can enter the apartment anytime after 3 pm. If you arrive earlier,
you may leave your luggage in our office until you can get
into the apartment. Our office is located very centrally at following
address: Avinguda Francesc Cambo 21, 3rd floor.

Clients are welcome to leave their luggage
at our offices at their own risk. Please note that Visit Barcelona S.L.
does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or loss to
your luggage and contents.
How late can I arrive on my first day?
You can arrive 24 hours a day. However, for guests arriving to the apartment
after 6 pm until 10 pm there is an extra charge of
20 €, for guests
arriving after 10 pm there is a late fee charge of 35 € and for guests
arriving after 1 am there is a late night
charge of 50 €.
How will we get the keys when we arrive?
When you receive your confirmation via e-mail there will be telephone numbers
for you to call when you arrive in Barcelona.
Our check-in person will meet
you at the apartment to let you in, give you details about the apartment
and give you the keys.
What do I do with the keys when I will leave the apartment?
You just leave them on the table in the apartment and close the door.
When do I need to leave the apartment on departure day?
At 11 am. If your plane is scheduled to leave late in the afternoon you may
leave your luggage in our office until it is time to leave
for the airport
or train station. Our office is located very central at following address.
Avinguda Francesc Cambo 21, 3rd floor.

General Information:
How long has Visit Barcelona existed?
We have existed for 6 years; over these years we have accumulated around
15.000 and more guests. Visit Barcelona, S.L.,
is one of the
first companies in Barcelona
to rent out apartments. We are registered on the Barcelona Tourist Board.
When
can we reach your office?
Our office hours are:
Monday - Friday: 10.00-20.00
Saturday: 12.00-20.00
Sunday: 12.00-20.00

The office is located in the city center of Barcelona. The address is Avinguda
Francesc Cambo 21, 3ª.

Is breakfast included?
No, but there is no need as all apartments have a kitchen, and there are several
cafes and food shops nearby.
Is there a lift in each apartment?
Most of our apartments have a lift; some of the places in older buildings may
not. Please have a look at our web page where
you can find more information.
Are the apartments safe?
Yes. We are always trying to choose the apartments in a very good and safe
neighborhood.
Can I bring a pet?
Yes, if they are well educated and of a normal size.
Is it possible to have a baby cot for my infant?
Yes, upon request, at no extra charge. Please let us know in advance so we
can arrange this extra service. The Picasso apartments charge an additional
fee for this.
Is there an age restriction?
No.
Is there a safety box in the apartments?
No.
Is there television, CD player and/or telephone in the apartments?
It depends, please have a look at the apartment web page and there you will
find all the information.
I am going to bring my car. Where can I park it?
Some of our apartments offer parking garage for an additional 10 € per
night.. Otherwise, Barcelona has underground parking garages spread all over
town where you can park your car for a daily fee, or on the street.
How do I get from the airport to the apartment?
You can either take a taxi directly, the cost is approx. 25€. Or you can
take the Aerobus from the Airport to the Plaça Catalunya,
the cost is
approx. 4 €.
What is the best way to travel in the city?
Barcelona has an excellent public communications system. There is a Metro Stop
(underground train) in almost every corner. The bus system is also widely used.
Furthermore, it is very inexpensive to take a taxi here in Barcelona but
many times it is
faster and
simpler to take the Metro. Please have a look at www.tmb.es

Do you offer discounts?
All our return clients receive a 5% discount when they book with us again;
the discount applies to standard rates (not to those rates already discounted).
The discount is also available to any of our return client's family or friends.
Return clients only need to contact our office directly before booking
again to organise their special reduction.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes.

Generally the wireless cards of computers from the USA and Israel do not
work in Spain. Please be so kind and contact our Customer Service Dept
who can provide you with a wireless "USB" card if available.
